SIPSA INNOV’ AWARDS 2022

INNOVATION IN THE SERVICE OF AGRICULTURE Initiated to promote intelligent and sustainable agriculture in the Maghreb, the SIPSA INNOV’ AWARDS competition brings together talents and skills from various backgrounds. Organised by the Filaha Foundation, this competition is the result of an initiative launched by the Filaha Innov’ think tank, which brings together experts who reflect on themes related to the development of the agricultural world. Farmers now use applications and intelligent solutions for the efficient management of farms and livestock units. New technologies can boost yields and improve product quality. Innovation is, in this sense, an essential support to achieve the objective of food security in the Maghreb.   WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

1. Innovations in agricultural production systems.
2. Innovations in the valorisation and transformation of agricultural products.
3. Innovations for sustainable and organic agriculture.
4. Innovations in fisheries and aquaculture.

EVALUATION OF PROJECTS The pre-selection phase of the projects will be based on two main criteria which are

• Clarity of the project and its functionality.
• Degree of maturity of the project and prototype.
• Technical evaluation phase: this will be based on a 5-minute pitch with presentation of a prototype if necessary.

PRIZE-WINNERS’ REWARDS The winners will benefit from: integration into the FILAHA INNOV’ incubator personalised support national and international media visibility a prize from the competition sponsors.
